Art in public spaces

35 persons max (incl. adults) per two-hour session I Recommended for Years 9-12.

session times: 10am to 12pm I 12.30pm to 2.30pm

Explore three major public artworks within the State Library building across level 1 and level 4, in a self-guided experience. These majoy work by First Nations women include MAIWAR Yunggulba (2017) by Megan Cope, Kurilpla Country by Lilla Watson, and Black Opium (2006) by Fiona Foley.

Bookings are essential to ensure MAIWAR Yunggulba by Megan Copy is accessible in kuril dhagun, a dedicated culture and multi-purpose space, celebrating First Nations knowledge and stories.

*Please note, Art in public spaces is teacher-led utilising the dedicated Curriculum Connect resource. Please read through the resource to allocate an appropriate amount of time within your booked session.
