The Edge hosts two specialist production computers, these are both high-end machines for heavy-duty rendering and graphics-intensive work. These include 32” 4K monitors. More information and user guides can be found on the SLQ wiki.
To book and use the PC Production Workstation, you’ll first need to:
- Become a State Library member and
- Complete a Production Workstation User Registration. Registrations will be processed within 4 business days. After which, approved applicants will be given access to a booking page.

PC Production Workstation 2 in The Edge Digital Media Lab at State Library is a high-end platform suitable for heavy-duty rendering and GPU-intensive work. It also offers a dual boot option which allows patrons to choose between a Lynx or Windows operating system.
